Fiber plays an important roll in our digestive health, keeping us full, and removing toxins from our system. A simple Stir-fry is a easy and tasty way to incorporate more of those benificial veggies and fiber into your diet.

Ingredients

1 tbsp avocado oil

2 garlic cloves, minced or sliced

Salt to taste

500g / 1 pound Choy Sum, cut on an angle, stems and leaves separated

Water if needed

2 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp Everiday Garlic Chili Oil or Chili Crisp

Instructions

1

DONE!

Heat your wok or deep pan on a medium flame and add oil.

2

DONE!

Once hot, add your garlic and simmer for about 30 seconds.

3

DONE!

Now add your Choy sum stems along with some salt. They take longer to cook and you want to give them at least 2-3 minutes COOK TIME before adding the leaves. You can add some water or vegetable stock here if you feel your veggies are to dry, and to aid the cooking process.

4

DONE!

Next, add in your leaves and some more salt. Give everything a good toss and cook for another 2 minutes. You will notice your veggies would reduce in size by about half, so plan accordingly if you are serving a bigger crowd.

5

DONE!

Turn off the stove, drizzle in some sesame oil, along with the Everiday garlic chili oil or Everiday chili crispy and give everything a nice mix. Taste and adjust salt and spice as needed.
