This viral chili oil fried egg is everything it’s cracked up to be (pun intended), and more! It's a fiery take on the traditional fried egg that will make you want this on repeat.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Everiday Chili Crisp or Garlic Chili Oil

1 egg

salt to taste

1 scallion, chopped

Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Options to serve with: cooked white rice or cauliflower rice, 1 slice of Everiday GF House Loaf, or your favorite roasted vegetables .

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the Everiday chili oil and spread in a thin layer.

Crack the egg in the pan, season with salt, and cover for 2 min.

While the eggs are cooking, cut up your spring onion.

Remove the cover from your eggs, and add the chopped scallion on top of the eggs. Cook for another 1 min or until the eggs are cooked to your liking. Finish with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds if desired.
